Task 1

The brief wanted us to create an imagined outdoor space which explores 3d spaces, and it does not have to be practical or functional. I find this an interesting project as it encouraged us to expand our creativity despite knowing that it is supposed to represent a scaled model of a building or a structure.

The old building stood 100m left of Royal Palace of Cambodia. It was built during the colonial time and is now unoccupied. It is one of the few french style influenced building that has not been torn down or be repaired. I fell in love with it long before i decided to move into architecture field. It gave a sense of grandness and a timeless feeling despite the constant changing trends in housing architecture.

It's synchronised and it reflects effort. This picture took at least 20 attempts before it captured all of us suspending in the air. It looks beautiful now and it felt great.
